これまでの8年間、そしてこれからも。AALTO 新オフィスへ移転します。

2022年4月6日より、AALTO INTERNATIONAL JAPAN株式会社（以下、AALTO）は、京都市内の堀川新文化ビルヂングへオフィスを移転します。

AALTOは、この4月末で第8期を終え、5月から第9期に入ります。

創業時から京都で、日本企業のグローバルブランディングに取り組んでおり、フィンランド語で『波』を意味するAALTOのように、大陸と大陸をつなぐ存在でありたいという想いは、8年経っても相変わらず、AALTOの真ん中にあります。

京都にありながらも、世界を駆け回り、枠をはみ出してきた会社ではありますが、そんなAALTOを「見たこともない」と珍しがりながらも、期待を込めて「面白い会社」と、大事に見守っていただいたおかげで、この8年目を終えることができます。

コロナ禍で海外との行き来がなくなったこの数年も、日本と海外をつなぐAALTOは、人と人のつながりを絶やさず、グローバルで新しい価値を創ることを信じて、一歩ずつ歩みを進めてきました。

それぞれの業界や分野に情熱を持つ人達と国を超えて立場を問わずつながり、一緒に世界で何ができるかを見出し、仲間のように協働していくことがAALTOの強みとなっています。

さて、そんなAALTO8周年を記念して、みなさんにひとつお知らせがあります。

「これまでの8年間で出会った方々への感謝の気持ちと、これからも末長いお付き合いが続いていきますように」と願いを込めて、新オフィスにバスクのクラフトビールLa Salveを88本用意しました！

バスクは、スペインとフランスにまたがる自治州で「美食の地」として知られる、良い波に恵まれた街。
Aaltoは、バスクと日本をつなぐJon Anderを通してご縁をいただき、バスクに何度も足を運びました。2019年に、海と人との共生を目指す、La Ocean Techとパートナーシップを結んで以来、福井はLa Ocean Tech Japanのディレクターを務め、日本でも海に関するテクノロジーの調査や取材などに関わっています。

コロナ禍の影響で、日本のレストランでお酒の提供ができなくなったことから、廃棄の危機にあったバスクのクラフトビールのことを知り、この8周年を機に、AALTOと縁のある方々が新オフィスにお越しの際にお渡しできればと思い、今回、AALTOにて88本を購入しました。

※88本なくなり次第終了です。オフィス内で飲酒はできませんので、お家に帰ってからじっくり味わっていただきますようお願いいたします。

対面で会うことができない日々が続いていましたが、また再びみなさんとつながっていけますように。

AALTOは、日本と海外をつなぐひとつの生命体として、これからもみなさんと一緒に活動を続けていきます。

Regarding the Office Relocation of Aalto International Japan

From April 6th 2022, Aalto International (AALTO) will be relocated to the Horikawa New Culture Building in Kyoto. Thanks to all the customers, partners and people who support us, we are about to celebrate our 8th year anniversary at the end of April.

In the spirit of AALTO, which means wave in Finnish, we have been working on connecting Japan and the world since our establishment.

Looking back over the past 2 years, it was difficult to meet people face-to-face due to the pandemic.

However, through our strong belief in our shared connection across borders, we are continuing to work towards our mission to new value together.

As part of our 8th anniversary celebration, we have prepared “petits cadeaux” (small gifts) for our closest partners and friends!

Thus, 88 bottles of beer from the Basque Country, called “La Salve”, have recently arrived at AALTO's new office.

La Salve is a craft beer maker born in 1886 in Bilbao, the largest city in the Basque Country.The Basque Country is well known globally as a "gourmand place", as well as being famous for its incredible waves.

Mariko has visited Basque country many times thanks to Jon Ander, who has made it his mission to connect Basque and Japan. Since forming a partnership with La Ocean Tech in 2019, Mariko has been the director of La Ocean Tech Japan and has been involved in research of marine technology and ocean resources.

Due to the restrictions imposed during the pandemic, the Basque Country’s craft beer was in danger of being discarded. So on the occasion of this 8th anniversary, AALTO decided to purchase 88 bottles of “La Salve” to share with people who are supporting us.

We will present a bottle of the beer to everybody who comes to visit in our new office.(First come, first served. Limited to 88 people.)

* Drinking alcohol is not permitted in the office. Therefore, we hope you will enjoy the beer at home.

While we are located in Kyoto, our bonds know no boundaries.
